I am an artist living in Kansas City, Missouri. I was raised in Overland Park, Kansas and I graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School. Here I learned the techniques of the dark room and developing black and white film. In my senior year, I began applying my previous education with 35mm cameras to the digital SLR.

I am currently in my last year of the BA program at The Conservatory of Music at UMKC. Within this BA program I have created an area of concentration consisting of courses in both Business and Photography. During an independent study of photography course, I was educated in alternative photography techniques by accomplished photographer Elijiah Gowin. It was at this time that I learned the inkjet transfer technique. After experiments with different transfer mediums such as wood, metal, canvas, and various types of paper I felt the strongest connection with the unique and beautiful interplay between pine wood grain and the tranfered inkjet photograph.
